AOL launches video ticker ads
AOL has become the latest company to offer advertising in video streams. The company has now launched video ticker ads.
AOL has developed these new ads in collaboration with PointRoll. These ads are similar to graphical ads but do not interfere with the streaming video.
They would be using these new advertising solutions across the AOL Network of video content. These would also be used on their AOL Video media player platform.
The company said in a statement on these new advertising solutions: “With these ads, advertisers can target users who are consuming video with a clickable video or an interactive Flash ad, creating a deeper, longer brand dialogue that isn’t passive.”
