Porsche to expand in the Indian market
German luxury car maker Porsche has announced that they are pretty optimistic about the Indian market and they are planning to expand their presence here.
The company is already selling most of their offerings here in Indian including the 911 range, Cayman, Cayenne and the Boxster.
Porsche also opened their latest showroom in south Mumbai built at an investment of around USD 2 million!
Their products are priced in the range of Rs. 52 lakh to Rs. 1.40 crore.
Mohammed Rehman, After Sales Manager (Middle East and Africa), Porsche added on their Indian plans: “We will be launching the Porsche Supreme 911 GT2 early next year as also the 4.8-litre Cayenne GTS. The Cayenne hybrid will be launched globally by late 2009 and will be launched here in 2010.”
