Facebook users annoyed with recently launched ‘features’
Facebook recently launched new features which enabled them to showcase user activities outside the website to their profiles on the social networking service.
This feature is compatible with online services like Fandango, Overstock and other online retailers.
Users are shown a box telling them that their activities on these third party sites are being sent to Facebook. They are given an option to disable this action for around 20 seconds.
Facebook users are claiming that this is an invasion of their privacy considering it is very hard to opt out of this new service from the company.
Facebook is working with around 40 websites on the web for this new feature.
