After Armani and Prada, TAG Heuer to launch mobile phones

Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer has announced their plans to launch mobile phone models in the market.

The company has now licensed its name to French customized design manufacturer Modelabs.

They would be launching a series of luxury mobile phones which would be branded Tag Heuer.

The two companies said in a statement on their plans: “The launch of the first TAG Heuer mobile telephone is foreseen for the second half of 2008.”

Prada and Armani are two popular fashion brands which have launched mobile phones in collaboration with mobile companies. Prada worked with LG Electronics for the LG Prada model. While Armani launched mobile devices in collaboration with Samsung.
