Apple iPhone: Brits think it’s too expensive
Research firm GfK NOP has stated that as per their surveys, just around two per cent of UK consumers are planning to buy an Apple iPhone this holiday season.
One of the primary reasons for not purchasing the iPhone is the high price of the device.
The impressive fact is that the survey found out that around three quarters of British consumers have now heard of the iPhone.
A lot of people did agree that the device looks cool and they like it. Richard Jameson, managing director of GfK NOP Technology added on their report: “Apple’s history proves that it has the magic touch when it comes to product development and marketing, but the iPhone has yet to capture the imagination of the UK public. IPhone hype is in full-force, but our data shows that it is very much a considered purchase, and that its high price is turning many consumers off.”
Apple is offering the iPhone in the UK market in partnership with mobile service provider O2.
