Apple iPhone now on sale in France
Apple iPhone is finally on sale in France. Orange is the exclusive service provider for this mobile phone device which has been a huge hit since its launch in the US market earlier this year.
Orange has said that they expect to have around half a million users in a year’s time for the iPhone.
Apple iPhone was available in 12 cities in the country today. It would be available nationwide starting tomorrow.
Orange is offering the iPhone for a retail price of 649 Euros with a contract. They would be able to get an unlocked phone for an additional 100 Euros if they want to use a rival service provider.
The company has already admitted that their deal with Apple would see them share parts of the revenues generated from iPhone users in the country.
