HIV/AIDS movies made by Indian directors to go online on YouTube

Four short movies made by Indian Directors would soon be made available on Google owned video sharing service YouTube.

These would be made available online in February. The launch would take place on Television.

These are also to be shown at a screening planned for federal lawmakers on World AIDS Day on December 1.

These short movies have been made by top directors in the industry including Mira Nair, Santosh Sivan, Farhan Akhtar and Vishal Bhardwaj.

Shernaz Italia had this to say on the announcement: “The YouTube release will happen in February after we get over with screenings on TV. There is going to be a huge television blitz and we hope to collaborate with theatres on special screenings for school and college students.”

These films feature actors including Prabhudeva, Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, and Shiney Ahuja.
