AT&T: 3G Apple iPhone would come out next year
AT&T Inc. Chief Executive Officer Randall Stephenson has stated that Apple would indeed come out with the 3G edition of Apple iPhone sometime next year.
He said this while talking at the meeting of the Churchill Club in Santa Clara, California.
Stephenson further said that the pricing of the device is not yet decided but Apple would have the final word on that.
Apple has set themselves the target of selling 10 million iPhones by 2010 and they do need a 3G edition to make that possible.
As per market reports, they had sold around 1.4 million handsets through the end of September.
The iPhone is currently on sale in USA, Germany, UK and France.
