Amazon Askville.com launched

Online shopping giant Amazon has finally launched their Askville.com service.

Askville.com is essentially an information-sharing Web site where users can post questions and answer questions posted by others.

It is pretty similar to other websites like Yahoo Answers.

The service is now open to all. It has been under beta testing since December 2006.
