Google confirms plan to bid for mobile airwaves
Search engine giant Google has finally confirmed in a statement that they would indeed bid for the mobile airwaves.
This announcement is pretty crucial as it would put Google in direct competition with mobile service providers in the US market.
Google added that they are now going to submit a formal application with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission.
They are going to bid on their own without any partners.
