T-Mobile gets legal right to sell locked iPhones in Germany
The Hamburg District Court has ruled that T-Mobile can indeed sell the locked iPhone with a 2 year long contract.
This decision now reverses an injunction which forced the company to make available an unlocked edition of the Apple iPhone device.
Their deal with Apple is now similar to Apple’s other deals in UK, US and France.
A company representative added: “We are pleased with the outcome.”
T-Mobile further said that they would unlock the iPhones owned by their customers at the end of the contract period.
