AMD in trouble as it delays Barcelona chip mass shipments
AMD has been in trouble ever since Intel launched their new generation of microprocessors.
The company has now been forced to delay the mass production of their Barcelona server processor.
AMD has confirmed that they have run into a bug with the production which would now delay the mass production.
The company is not however recalling the processor from the market as they continue to ship it to specialized markets in limited demands.
Barcelona is a very important processor for the company as this product was designed to take on the new generation chips from Intel.
Looks like Intel is going to continue its domination over AMD in the future as well.
