Vudu to offer The Bourne Ultimatum high definition edition
Vudu Inc. has announced that they would be releasing the high-definition version of the hit movie The Bourne Ultimatum on their service.
This release would come on the same day as the launch of the DVD of the movie in the retail market.
Customers of this service require a high speed Internet connection to download the movies they rent to watch it.
With this, Universal Pictures would become the first major vendor to offer downloading movies in HD format.
Vudu is also working with other players including Paramount Pictures and Lionsgate Entertainment to launch HD versions of movies.
The company said that the three movies in this series (“The Bourne Identity,” “The Bourne Supremacy,” and “The Bourne Ultimatum”) would sell for $24.99 each.
