Ask.com launches AskEraser

Online search engine service Ask.com has announced the availability of a new service named AskEraser.

This service has been made available to allow the web users to delete data on their search queries.

The aim is to provide better privacy to the users of the Ask.com search engine.

Ask.com Chief Executive Jim Lanzone spoke about this new development: “We take significant steps to protect any data that’s stored in our servers, but for those people who want to take extra precautions, AskEraser let them take the issue completely off the table.”

The feature is now available to web users in US and UK. They aim to make it available globally starting next year.
