Latitude XT: Dell launches their first Tablet PC product

Dell has announced their latest product named Latitude XT. It is the first Tablet Personal Computer from the company.

Dell said that the Latitude XT would be the industry’s only sub-four-pound convertible tablet with pen and capacitive touch capability.

Dell Product Group Director Margaret Franco added that the advance technology used in this product would allow users to get more done, more quickly and more precisely.

The company added that the touch response time on this machine is up to 10 times faster than other tablets.

It would come powered with Core 2 Solo and Duo low-voltage processors, ATI Radeon X1250 integrated graphics, a full-size keyboard, up to 9.5 hours of battery life, and an optional media base for docking and optical media.
