NBC Universal to provide media to SanDisk Fanfare service
US based media giant NBC Universal has announced their plans to provide media content for the upcoming Web-based service from SanDisk Corp.
This service would be made available to owners of SanDisk manufactured digital media players to download shows from the internet.
These users would then be able to watch the shows on a TV set-top.
Universal said that they would also provide programming from its cable channels like USA and Bravo to the SanDisk owned Fanfare service.
Some of the popular shows to be made available would be The Office, Heroes and 30 Rock.
