AT&T provides free directory assistance services
AT&T has announced that their free directory assistance service available from 1-800-935-5697 is now available from coast to coast across the United States.
Mobile users would be able to call this number from any wireline and mobile phone in the United States.
The service is being made available for free and the company hopes to generate revenues through advertising.
David S. Huntley, senior VP at AT&T customer information services had this to say on this new service launch: “People want information in a variety of ways, and making 1-800-YellowPages available nationally is an important step in providing to not only advertisers but also consumers, a wide range of choices for finding that they need.”
