Treo 755p launched by Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless has announced that they are now making available the Palm Treo 755p smartphone in the US market.
Treo 755p is basically an enhanced version of their previous model 700p and it comes with support for EVDO for data transmission and reception, a touch screen, a full Qwerty keyboard, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a mini-SD slot for cards up to 4 GB, support for Microsoft Office documents, and a preinstalled version of Google Maps.
The company further said that this new model features a sleeker design with an internal antenna and a soft-touch feel.
Palm has been struggling to compete against the new generation of smartphones being launched by competing companies. The company continues to release enhanced versions of their existing products while they hope to launch something exciting enough to lure away customers from rival manufacturers.
