Apple starts talk to launch iPhone in Japan

Japan is one market which Apple would like to do well with their iPhone. The mobile market is Japan is rather different from the America and very advanced devices are available on sale here.

Technology advances at a rapid face in this country with people relying on them to do more than just making calls.

It would take something special for Apple to impress the Japanese customers with the iPhone and they have started working on the basic deals.

Apple is now in talks with several players in this market to bring the iPhone to Japan.

The critical problem remains the revenue sharing agreement which is not very common in this market.

NTT DoCoMo spokesman Shuichiro Ichikoshi confirmed that the company has had talks with Apple but no details were revealed.

Apple had earlier stated that they aimed to bring the iPhone to Asian markets in 2008.

Apple is also said to be interested in talks with Softbank provided they cannot sign a deal with NTT DoCoMo.
