Hyundai i10: Business Standard Motoring Car of the Year 2008
Hyundai recently launched their i10 model in the Indian market. The car has met with a good response.
There is more good news for the company. Business Standard has now named Hyundai i10 as their Business Standard Motoring Car of the Year 2008.
Hyundai i10 managed to beat the other major rival in this category Renault Logan.
Hyundai incidentally has won the same award previously for their Santro and Getz models.
The other cars which it beat included some high profile names like Chevrolet Spark, Maruti Suzuki’s SX4, the BMW 3 and 5 Series and the Volkswagen Passat.
Hyundai i10 is being manufactured solely in India and the company is exporting it to several international markets.
Hyundai is also planning to bring another model named i20 in India in the coming years.
