Mercedes-Benz C-class is Wheels magazine car of the year
Mercedes-Benz C-class has won the Wheels magazine car of the year award.
The car managed to overcome competition from rival products including Mazda2 and Ford Mondeo.
Other cars in the race were popular models including Skoda Roomster, Volkswagen Eos and BMW M3.
Wheels Editor Ged Bulmer added in a statement that the Merc easily managed to outclass the other models in the hunt.
He said: “The C-class entry level model is about the price of a top-of-the-line Commodore so it’s certainly affordable to a larger proportion of Australians than the S-class, which twice won the car of the year award.”
