AT&T Wi-Fi service availability being expanded to more customers
US based telecom giant AT&T Inc. has said that they are now going to make available its 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots free to nearly all of its broadband Internet customers.
This service would be made available starting next week and would benefit the users of laptop and mobile devices.
The company had till now made available this service available to just their premium broadband service customers.
AT&T spokesman Fletcher Cook spoke on this new development: “It’s a differentiator for us when people are choosing between competitors.”
They are also now working on launching a new broadband service with speeds of up to 10 mbps. It would be made available to the customers of their U-verse IPTV service.
