Deutsche Telekom claims to have sold 70,000 iPhones
Deutsche Telekom has the rights to sell the Apple iPhone mobile device in the German market and the company claims that they have already sold more than 70,000 units.
The iPhone was launched in Germany on November 9, 2007.
They offer the product along with a contract through their subsidiary T-Mobile.
A company representative said: “The iPhone is by far the most sold multimedia device in T-Mobile’s portfolio.”
In fact, French telecom company France Telecom had also said earlier this year that they have sold more than 70,000 iPhones since they arrived on November 28.
Apple itself is claiming that around 4 million iPhones have been sold in the world markets since its launch last year.
