Yahoo! OpenID Provider service launched
Internet giant Yahoo has now launched the public beta of their Yahoo! OpenID Provider service.
This service would now enable millions of existing Yahoo members to access third party web services compatible with OpenID 2.0 using their Yahoo IDs.
The company claims that they have simplified the process of logging into these services and users would not be required to understand the backend concept of OpenID.
They are also now working on international editions of this service. This service is already open to users in as many as 17 countries.
