Microsoft showcases advanced advertising projects
Microsoft has been working hard to develop online advertising solutions to take on Google is this segment of the market.
The software giant has now showcased some new advertising projects which might someday form a part of their service offerings.
Incidentally, this event took place just days after the company launched their bid for rival Yahoo.
The new prototypes displayed by the company would enable advertisers to forecast the success of certain keyword advertising campaigns. They also showcased a system which focuses on making it easier for the user to think about key ideas rather than individual keywords.
Microsoft representative Tarek Najm spoke about these prototypes: “Search itself gets a lot of attention because of Google. Advertising in search, as a result, gets a lot of attention.”
