AOL acquires buy.at online affiliate marketing network
While Microsoft is trying to acquire Yahoo, AOL has announced their decision to takeover online affiliate marketing network buy.at.
The two companies have not revealed the financial aspects of this deal.
Buy.at network provides advertisers a platform to place ads on web sites which only pays when the visitor performs a certain activity.
This is incidentally the fifth such acquisition for AOL in the recent times. They are working hard to become a major player in the online advertising market which is largely dominated by Google.
