Dell slowly switching back to Intel?
Market reports suggest that Dell has now stopped offering several of their models powered by AMD processors.
The company however is selling these machines through their resellers. For a long time Dell offered only Intel processor based machines through their stores.
This is going to be a major disappointment for AMD which after years of struggle managed to find a place in some Dell models.
A Dell representative said on this report: “We regularly adjust our product offerings and how customers can purchase those products. The majority of our consumer AMD-based systems are available through our retail partners and telephone sales.”
The company added that they are committed to the AMD product line as a long-term partner to provide flexibility and maximum choice to their customers.
