Apple launching MacBook Air in India
Apple is almost certain to launch the recently released MacBook Air notebook in the Indian market.
Market sources say that it would be made available here in India sometime this month.
Apple is also likely to bring in another product named the Time Capsule in the Indian market.
Apple had launched the MacBook Air at the recently concluded MacWorld 2008 in San Francisco.
This ultra thin notebook is powered with the Intel 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 2GB RAM. Customers can get it with either an 80GB hard drive or a 64GB SSD.
The Apple Time Capsule is essentially an external “wireless” storage device for the MacBook Air which provides extra storage capacity for the portable machine.
MacBook Air in India is likely to be priced at around Rs 96,100.
