Ford India updates Fiesta line-up

Ford India has announced their updated lineup of Fiesta model. The cheapest variant would sell for Rs 5.93 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The previous 1.4 liter ZXI model has now been replaced with a 1.6 liter ZXI edition. Then we have the other variants: 1.4 EXI and 1.6 SXI.

The company in addition has also renewed the diesel engine editions of the Fiesta. The three models are: 1.4 EXI, 1.4 ZXI and 1.4 SXI and they would sell for Rs 7.03 lakh, Rs 7.49 lakh and Rs 8.09 lakh respectively.

Ford India vice-president, Marketing, Sales and Service Scott McCormack spoke about these newly launched variants: “Fiesta has been recognized by various automobile experts for its performance, stability, maneuverability and control, qualities that are most sought after by those who are passionate about cars and driving.”

Fiesta has been a massively successful model for the company. Especially the diesel edition which has totally taken away the sales of the Hyundai Verna/Accent Diesel edition.
