Apple announces Xsan 2 with MultiSAN feature
Apple has announced their latest updated product Xsan 2 which comes loaded with MultiSAN technology which the company claim makes it easier for first time users to get it running.
Company representative Eric Zelenka spoke about this new product: “The feedback we’ve heard from customers is that a SAN is too difficult to setup, so one of the goals in this release was to make SAN simpler.”
The company makes it possible by integrating SAN Setup Assistant into their Mac OS X Leopard Server.
Zelenka added: “Tens of thousands of businesses, from small video post-production houses to large data centers and TV stations, use Xsan as their clustered SAN file system. Now with Xsan 2, businesses can efficiently share and access their data faster and easier than ever before.”
