Google to work with Cleveland Clinic on Google Health Initiative
Search engine giant Google has announced that they are now working with Cleveland Clinic on their health service plans.
Google said that they aim to help create a national system for sharing electronic medical records.
Incidentally, Cleveland Clinic already has such a system in place named eCleveland Clinic MyChart which has the medical records of their 100,000 patients.
Some of these people would now be invited to become a part of their project with Google.
By making this data available the database, they would be able to share it with different doctors, service providers and pharmacies.
Google on their part are promising that they would not share sensitive personal information with third parties without prior consent.
