UK want laws to punish ISPs to allow illegal file sharing
UK government has said that they want to enact laws in the country which would require the internet service providers in the region to block sharing of illegal files on their networks.
They are for now considering statutory solutions to stop internet piracy in the country till such a law is enacted.
ISPs in UK have been in talks with media companies independently on ways to tackle internet piracy but they have still not reached to any conclusion.
A government report added that if they fail to come up with a solution, they would have to equip itself to introduce legislation swiftly.
