Microsoft clarifies more on life after potential merger with Yahoo

Software giant Microsoft continues to work on their aim to acquire the internet media company Yahoo.

Yahoo on their part has already rejected the bid placed by the software giant.

Microsoft has now given out some information on life after the potential merger.

The company said that they have no plans to layoff a lot of people if and when the deal completes.

Microsoft stated that the company is growing and there are a lot of employee opportunities throughout the company.

Kevin Johnson, president of Microsoft’s platforms and services division stated in an email message: “While some overlap is expected in any combination of this size, we should remember that Microsoft . . . has hired over 20,000 people since 2005, and we would look to place talented employees throughout the company as a whole.”
