Pakistan Telecommunication Authority blocks access to YouTube
Pakistan has become the latest country to have blocked access to the popular video sharing service YouTube.
The ban was originally supposed to be implemented on certain videos hosted on the service but apparently the entire site was blocked.
The problem video was a 04:58-minute-long trailer from Dutch politician Geert Wilders’ controversial anti-Islam movie.
This is not the first time that ISPs have failed to follow correct orders from the government leading the non-access to the rest of the harmless web site.
Incidentally, the controversial video was not a very popular one and was very much unnoticed by the web users in the country.
