LG stops sale of a laptop model due to battery problem

LG Electronics has said that they have now halted the sale of a particular model of laptop which seems to have issues with the battery.

The company’s LG Chem subsidiary is already investigating the battery meltdown which took place in a unit of that model.

LG said that the batteries are designed to dissolve as a safety feature to avoid a potential explosion.

This particular model is no longer in production and was only sold in the South Korean market.
