SyncWizard service launched by Michael Robertson

Michael Robertson has announced the launch of his new project named SyncWizard.

Robertson is the man behind hugely successful projects including the MP3.com, Linspire, and Gizmo5.

SyncWizard has been designed to scan the user’s machine and find important data. This data is then stored in an encrypted form online.

Robertson spoke about this service: “It’s not a backup, but a ‘cloud-up’ because it’s putting all your data into the cloud allowing you to access it more easily. You get the safety of an extra copy, but the versatility of anywhere access.”

The service would provide the data accessible through a web page which would be viewable on any web browser on any platform (including PC, cell phone, PDA, iPhone, BlackBerry).
