Latitude XFR D630: Dell launches their first rugged machines
Dell has now launched their first fully rugged laptop model Latitude XFR D630.
This is an improvement over their Latitude ATG D620 which was essentially a semi-rugged machine.
The company said that the new model meets all of the requirements of the MIL-STD 810F spec.
This would become a challenger for the popular Panasonic Toughbook CF-52.
Dell is offering their machine with 32GB and 64GB capacities (Solid State Drives).
It features a 14-inch widescreen which is viewable even in outside environments.
The screen has touch screen capabilities making it even more easy to use.
This machine is being sold at prices starting at $3,899.
