YouTube dominates online video service market
Nielsen Online has come out with their latest research report and it states that Google owned video sharing service YouTube continues to dominate the market.
The report said that YouTube had almost 66.2 million unique viewers during the month of January. They streamed as many as 2.6 billion clips during that period.
MySpace was second on the list with 376.8 million clips streamed. They had around 19 million unique visitors.
Yahoo’s video sharing service was in the third spot with 299 million streamed videos. But they had 22.1 million unique users putting it ahead of MySpace.
Google continued to show its domination in this market with their other service Google Video also showing a strong display. Google Video streamed around 79.4 million clips and it had around 13 million unique viewers.
