Facebook Digital Music store coming up?

We have already heard rumors that MySpace has been talking with the major music labels to possibly launch a digital media store to sell music online.

The latest reports are that the competing social networking service Facebook is also said to be in talks for launched a potential rival to Apple ITunes and Amazon MP3.

Market sources said that the talks are in very early stages and nothing can be confirmed at the moment.

However, knowing how the two players are competing hard with each other, it would not be surprising to see them both launching their own music stores to generate some extra revenues.

Imeem should have acquired SoundLoud and their SoundStation Music Store rather than Snocap and their Mystore which by the way is under litigation for trademark infringement by the folks at mystore.com. SoundLoud has been paving the way as the Snocap replacement. Everything snocap has done wrong, this company is doing right. Better royalty payout rate, better brand, better music management, better distribution services, better everything! Check them out for yourselves at http://www.soundloud.com
