One Laptop per Child Project looking for a new CEO

The One Laptop per Child Project has revealed that they are now going to operate as efficiently as a commercial organization and are looking for a new CEO.

Project Chairman Nicholas Negroponte said in a statement that the group needs to operate more like a company (like Microsoft for example).

They have also reorganized the group into four units: technology, deployment, market development, and fundraising and administration.

Negroponte added that he would continue to operate as the chairman of the project which aims to put low cost computers in hands of school going children worldwide.
