Samsung miCoach music-mobile phone to take on Apple Nike+
Samsung is collaborating with Adidas to launch a new mobile phone package named miCoach.
This collaboration is apparently aimed at the collaboration between Apple and Nike which provides the customers with an iPod solution which monitors their exercise routine.
Samsung’s package comes with a music-mobile phone in addition to a heart-rate monitor, a sensor to attach to a pair of running shoes and a Web workout journal.
They have an advantage over the combo solution provided by Apple and Nike as the device works as a mobile phone along with a portable media player.
Samsung miCoach however lacks when it comes to storage capacity (1GB compared to lot more for Apple iPod Nano).
Sophia Kim, a Samsung representative said in a statement that the system would first be available in Germany.
