Maruti Swift Sedan to be named Suzuki DZire
Maruti Suzuki India is increasing its focus on research & development as they aim to launch more products in the market to compete with the growing rivals here in India.
The company has been hiring more people in its R&D division and they plan to have 1,000 engineers in the next three years.
Suzuki said that their Indian division would have one of the largest automobile R&D facilities in India after they establish the new 600 acre Manesar facility.
The Indian division of the Japanese automaker has already developed the A-Star vehicle which would soon be introduced in the European markets.
The company also revealed that the sedan version of Maruti Swift would be named Suzuki DZire.

Vijay, I think both petrol and diesel version will be in demand. Also I personally like the looks of swift dzire a lot. The rear is more like that of Camry.
Yes even I loved the car. It would be a true competition for other sedans.
