OpenMoko announces OpenMoko CAD files

Open Source mobile maker OpenMoko has announced that they are now making available OpenMoko CAD files.

These files are being made available under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 license.

A company representative spoke about this new development: “With desktop manufacturing, you can build parts on your desktop for $3,500.”

Steve Mosher, VP of marketing at OpenMoko added: The goal is to reach the community of the people who know how to do this.”
