Paramount Pictures to allow movie clip sharing on Facebook
Paramount Pictures has announced that they are now collaborating with FanRocket to launch the VooZoo application on the Facebook social networking service.
This application would allow the members of the service to see and share clips from thousands of its movies.
Paramount senior vice president of entertainment Derek Broes spoke about this new development: “The short clips for a movie that you’ve already seen before helps you relive the moment.”
The company aims to benefit from this service by marketing DVDs of the movies through the clippings.
Paramount is also planning to launch viral marketing campaigns for their future releases through this service.

About

This app is pretty cool. About time studios let us use their clips.
Just to let everyone know that I invented VooZoo in 2001 and I am surprised at the use by another company of this. I am investigating copyright infringement issues. Any help is useful.

Greetings Mike!
I just spoke to the USPTO today and let them know, thanks for your help! I was feeling a bit like a Native American Indian for a while, but looks like legal rights are still in tip top shape!
