Acer Gemstone blue range of Laptops for movie lovers

Acer has announced that they are going to launch a new range of notebook computers for people who want to experience their media in its full glory.

The company is working on the new “Gemstone blue” line of laptops which would feature screens comparable to top-of-the-line HDTV.

These machines would also come loaded with six speakers; including a subwoofer to support “5.1″ surround sound.

This model is going to be sold in the US market at prices starting at around USD 2000. They are also going to offer cheaper variants with three speakers and a smaller screen for around USD 1700.
