Epson Stylus Photo R1900 launched in India

Epson has announced the launch of their eight-ink A3+ photo printer named “Stylus Photo R1900″ in the Indian market.

The company said that the printer is equipped with Ultra Chrome Hi-Gloss inks. This means that the printer has standard cyan, magenta, and yellow colors in addition to matte black, photo black, red, and orange along with gloss optimizer.

The printer also comes loaded with their new LUT technology that uses newly-created algorithms to calculate and translate RGB colors to match CMYK prints for maximum precision and consistency.

Epson added that the printer is capable of printing on a variety of materials including CDs and DVDs. It is being offered at Rs 39,999.
