Trend Micro website was attacked by malicious hackers
Trend Micro has confirmed that their website was attacked by hackers who were aiming to place malicious content on it.
The company added that they took the pages down overnight Tuesday night and took corrective measures.
This attack was part of the global attack which was targeted at more than 20,000 Web pages as per the report by another security software maker McAfee.
These attacks are designed to put malicious code in the web pages which when loaded tries to install password-stealing software on the PCs of the victim.
