Rolex now official sponsor of BBC.com
BBC News has announced that Rolex has signed on to become the official sponsor of their website.
The watch maker has now become the exclusive launch partner of the revamped edition of BBC.com.
BBC’s this news portal is primarily aimed at generating revenues through advertising as it is used by non-license fee payers outside the UK.
Rolex would now be sponsoring all the BBC.com content. The company would be able to communicate “specific brand messages” the millions of users of this web service.
BBC added in a statement that Rolex deal is the first in a number of sponsorship opportunities throughout the year.
