Facebook Chat: Facebook to add chat feature as they enhance user privacy
Social networking service Facebook has announced that they are now providing enhanced privacy settings to the users of their network.
These new features would enable the users to decide what their friends, and friends of their friends see.
Matt Cohler, Facebook’s vice president of product management spoke about the need for these advanced features: “We have a lot more users, a lot more types of users, a lot more relationships; we have a lot more types of relationships.”
Facebook also said that they are currently working on adding a new instant messaging chat feature on the service that would work inside Facebook network enabling the members to instantly chat with each other.
Facebook Chat should be online in the coming weeks.
