LG GGW-H20L Blu-Ray writer launched in India
LG Electronics has launched what they claim is the world’s fastest Blu-ray writer. The product name is LG GGW-H20L.
The company said that this drive has a writing speed of 6x maximum. It is available in IDE edition which makes it easier for a user to install it on a regular desktop.
LG claims that the drive is capable of writing discs which can store data content of up to 73 CDs.
R Manikandan, business group head (IT Division) of LGEIL spoke at the launch ceremony: “By launching the world’s fastest Blu-ray writer with a 6x maximum write speed, LG once again proves itself the leader.”
They are selling it here in India for a MRP of Rs 29,990 (inclusive of taxes).
